The tracks are a combination of improvisational recordings direct to an apple laptop mic and minimal multi-tracking with a USB sound recorder. We kept the sound raw and natural so the experience of listening to the tracks is close to hearing them live, some sounds were not planned such as the egg timer ringing in the background on track 08:-) Neither of us are musicians but we both love music and enjoy sonic experimentation using our handmade electronic instruments, collection of guitar effects...

This is a track we have recorded which will be part of our second album which does not have a title as yet. It was created using two Gakken SX-150 synthesizers. One played through an Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer and Boss Digital Delay (DD3) the other with no effects. Both setups were played into an Onkyo Karaoke machine/amp with a little echo added and recorded using audacity.

Experimental composition and improvised noise created using a variety of elements both hardware and software. The hardware elements include a piezo transducer into an MXR distortion + then a Boss DD3 digital delay pedal then onto an Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer and finally Leem 4 channel mixer. I also used a cigar box electric guitar (alternative tuning) fed into a home made passive ring modulator with a square wave oscillator as the carrier signal all fed to the mixer. The software is a...
